    A worthy selection of canidates and good measuremnt criteria. I wonder what results would have been had the testers combined the different drivers and horns. If my math is right, that would have been a formidable task.

    Horn #11 states "Altec 290E with 288D alu dome, resulting in a 288-16G". Can a 290E be converted to a 288-16G with a 288D alu dome ( I assume the 'dome' is a diaphragm) ?
